The morning of the day of our date, I canceled due to a possible COVID symptom, the date got very pissed off. Was I wrong?
Post Body

Im going to try to make this short as possible.

Me (M25) and this girl (25) have been talking for a month now. Due to both of us having graduation, work and other stuff, we were not able to meet earlier but we eventually settled on Sunday. When I woke up on the day of our date, my throat felt scratchy. On Saturday I felt fine until at night, i kept clearing my throat a little bit but i never thought much of it. I told her all of this the morning of before it got late saying that i didnt want her to possibly get sick, she instead got super pissed.

I’ll admit I probably did not communicate it the best but if i end up did catching the you know what, knowing i had a symptom and i went to the date and got her sick, i would feel terrible. She wasnt having it saying word for word after me explaining “well I want to know if you do like me or not because next time you do this you won’t be forgiven.” She also said that it was a “major red flag to cancel on the day of the date.”

In prior conversations, things have been very good and we talk every single day but sometimes she always asks me if i like her when i said multiple times i do and whenever i dont text for a certain amount of hours from being busy, she texts again saying “you must not like me” and “what are you doing” and that can get extremely annoying at times.

Was I wrong in this situation? Am I right?
