well i deleted my profile a week back, the reason?

1. the obvious, i wasn't getting any matches.
2. after going through the posts here and getting to know about how the algorithm works i understood that my profile was probably rated the lowest of the low and probably wasn't even being shown to women.
3. i realized looks matter and its not anyone's fault, the first thing you see is someone's picture and if you don't like what you see you probably won't bother to scroll to the prompts.
4. the ratio specially for the country i'm in (india) is heavily skewed, so women have a lot of better option and they are probably shown to them before my profile would even pop up. It is what it is.
5. i didn't realize that all of the above was weighing down on me and it was effect my confidence and mood, so i thought it would be good to take a break.

again i am not throwing blame or cursing anyone i just accepted the reality of things and i'm fine with it.

i just thought also though id list down on the type of profile i swipe left (although its not much coming from someone who doesn't get matches) , maybe it will help, i don't know, so here goes:

1. if you have your insta id listed under about me section: its a 100% swipe left because of my experience that those women are mostly just looking for followers.
2. "im the type of texter": surprisingly many women use this prompt and most women even in good humor portray that they are not good texter, which is a turn off as you would know men often complain that they get match but not a reply.
3. others are pretty basic, blank profile, fake pictures, etc.

so that was basically it, i really don't have any intention with the post i just wanted to write it down cause i didn't want to just hold it in.
