Should I Avoid Telling Matches That My Mom Has Cancer?
Post Flair (click to view more posts with a particular flair)
Post Body
My mom’s cancer had a remission recently and it doesn’t look good. We live about 3 hours apart, and I have been going over there once every few weeks or so.
When do I bring this up with matches, though? I’m worried that revealing it too soon may steer some people away – not wanting to deal with any potential emotional rollercoaster or whatnot. But also don’t want to be dishonest or misleading.
