Post Body

Hi everyone,

First of all, I just want to say thank you to this community and all the love, knowledge, and wisdom you share through this medium.

Iā€™m writing because recently I moved into my own living space and, as someone who wants to deepen their practice, I felt very moved to ā€œinviteā€ some Hindu deities into my new space by buying some artwork of them to hang up. I bought a Nataraj image of Shiva as well as a beautiful print of Hanuman ripping his chest open to reveal Ram and Sita. However, I came up on some reading a few days ago that stated that keeping these specific images of the deities doing these acts would not be auspicious compared to others that depict them in a more ā€œstableā€ manner.

I was wondering if someone could elaborate on this. Is it true? What would be some good images of Shiva and Lord Hanuman to keep at home. I would definitely love to carve out some space for them but I also donā€™t want to invite unnecessary energy.

Would love to hear the communityā€™s insight on this!

Blessings to all! Thank you for your time!
