Post Body

As a westerner looking to understand more about Hinduism, I often come across articles of baba's and guru's that are deemed 'fake'. Yet rarely do I find information on those that are accepted as 'real'.

Other then researching every name I come across, is there a way to know which to follow/listen to (for clarification, when I say follow, I don't necessarily mean religiously, more of an academic. A learning.), and which to avoid?

Edited:(...)
