So basically from the last few days I’ve seen some content on YouTube where I’ve watched these foreigners who are part of ISKCON or Hare Krishna moment and are all dressed up in their monk robes and are very religiously following our culture and traditions and also teaching about it to others.
Today my dad shared a video of Vedic village in Hungary and it was so nice to see that video. I just remarked to him saying it’s all thanks to founder of ISKCON Srila Prabhupada that so many people outside India know about our culture and religion.
Anyway I started doing some more research and watched some of his documentary videos on YouTube and found that he seems to be strictly believing in the idea that women are less capable beings than men and he has repeatedly said without any sugarcoating that women are less intelligent than men as their brain size is very less and hence women must always be subordinate to men. He kept referring to some psychologist to back his claim and was arguing with the female reporter that he’s right and is just using logic to defend his stance.
I strongly and firmly believe that is a very misogynistic view, and was kinda taken back and surprised after watching that video..
Sure it’s true men and women are different fundamentally and have different roles but saying women are less intelligent and they have to be always subordinate is very rude and primitive..
I believe in equal treatment and opportunities to all humans no matter caste religion or gender.
What’s your views on this controversial take?
