Osprey tempest 20 difficulties

Hi all! I recently purchased the Osprey Tempest 20 to go day hiking and have found it really difficult to insert my Source 2 liter water bladder into the hydration sleeve, and it's nearly impossible unless I take out the Velcro torso adjustment piece. The opening just seems really small and tight. Am I doing something wrong?
