Angels Landing Lottery: 11APR22-15APR
Post Body

Hello Everyone,

I understand at the end of the day, it’s my responsibility to place my request into the lottery for the day I wish to hike the trail and be flexible with that selection. Unfortunately, as I’m an active-duty personnel in the U.S. Navy, scheduling time off can be challenging and unpredictable, which I know majority of you understand.

Originally, I was planning to place myself and my significant other into the lottery within January for the seasonal selection to hike the trail sometime in the spring until I got information that I should anticipate being deployed within a sometime in the near future. That timeline has been changing multiple times since then, which has made it challenging to secure time off without creating any conflicts. That’s also why the day before lottery seems challenging as well due to be limited timeframe.

As I mentioned, the original plan was to visit Zion and the other national parks in Utah in May, but it cannot be possible as the time slot for my request for time off has also been altered multiple times.

This weekend, I got the green light to request to take time off within a specific timeframe, which is listed above before officially departing for deployment.

If anyone, or knows anyone, with extra slots for their group, just for me and my significant other, for the dates listed above, I would highly appreciate the gesture and assistance. DM me if you can help the both of us to make it possible and we can discuss it further. Thank you!
