Good morning! I can consider myself a hiker, i’ve done top peaks in Africa, SW Asia, I was a scout (back the days) and loved camping then hiking for miles to set camp in another location, in another forest. I’ve been living in the states for over 2 years now, and I am longing for the feeling of freedom and happiness being alone in nature makes me feel. I’ve been to some of the minor national parks, but wanted to get your thoughts/suggestions on a possible 1-2 weeks hiking/backpacking itinerary, something for end of September possibly. Would love to have mountains and a body of water around, and possible places to set camp! Thank you!
