Okay so main character gets stabbed a bunch and all of his friends die…. Okay cool, next episode starts and everyone’s alive, but it’s also like a week earlier so I guess it’s going to explain a bit why he got attacked no?

WRONG. They’re all just going to do something completely different and introduce completely new characters, also they’re going to kill everyone again but in a different way and a different place!?

Immediately at the next episode everyone is alive and well, and it’s a week earlier again. Okay sure, I played Mob of the Dead as a kid, I know time loops I guess, but why the fuck does none of it make any sense? Is this show really just going to be 3-4 episodes of slice of life, everyone dying, and then repeat!?

And if they’re going to do it like that, why not just make it like 5 episodes a season? It’s really killing my OCD that they just just storylines at random moments, and I guess one of them is over 100 years old and a time traveler??? Cool let’s just never address that again.

Quick internet shows that this is a continuation of a 2006 show and an old murder mystery game, but also no one is explaining how people are surviving being brutally murdered and then just being best friends with their murderer in the very next episode with absolutely no warning or time stamp or anything to let you know that they don’t remember how they were brutally murdered.

Oh wait, we can just assume they don’t remember right? Like they’re doomed to repeat, WRONG. Obviously they’ll just get flashbacks and remember the brutal murders. And the show just keeps having them die and come back without even addressing the fact that I saw those characters die not 10 minutes ago, I can’t believe I’m being gaslit by a tv show rn, istg I saw them die don’t you dare deny it you hand drawn cause of my therapy this week

This isn’t like an intriguing murder mystery like I thought it’d be, this is just confusing. Any search online and people just say “it’ll all make sense eventually” well it’s not making sense and I don’t want to have to endure some neon evangelion type drawing just to maybe enjoy this actually well drawn cartoon.

Anyway rant over. TLDR: could anyone just explain how the characters keep dying and coming back to life in like 2 sentences or less?
