Sony CDP-CX691 won't load CDs

So I picked this thing up off of marketplace with not working. Of course the belts were jelly so I replaced them and while the table does turn and gets the CD where it needs to go, the mechanism doesn't pick up the CD. The motor doesn't even turn to attempt to retrieve it. Anyone encounter this or have a wiring diagram?
