Hi-Fi set up for gaming / Sim Racing?
Post Body

Hey everyone, i'm wondering if a Hi-Fi set up would work well for gaming to increase immersion. Preferably I want a 2.1 or 4.1 or 5.1 set up and hook it up to a PC using S/PDIF. Been looking at some offerings from Edifier, Teufel, Klipsch, KEF. I just want the cars to sound real, feel the engine rumble, and create a nice and realistic feeling soundstage on other open world games. Any advice here? Oh and I have a second question, if a 2.0 speaker set up doesn't have a Subwoofer out, can I still add a subwoofer to my PC by hooking it up to like an RCA output instead of the optical output I would use for the speakers?
