I'm going to shoot for the first time, advice needed.

What needle should I use? I hear IV needles are used most, the thin ones. Also are the cotton filters necessary and where can I buy citric powder?

Answer to your question though, I go with 28-29g 1/2” or 5/16” 1.0ml “ longs “or “ shorts “ depends on your veins in my opinion. Mine sit on the surface on my hands and a short length is enough to hit easy without a tie. Plus some sterile water vials, a spoon, and cotton filter
