Alarak mains, please share your wisdom!
Post Body

So I have reached lvl 30 on our edgy taldarim boy, but I still feel like I am missing something. The thing is, I started to play ranked. I found a party of 3 and now 4 of us try to rank up. And I, fully devoted to Alarak, can only play him (I mean on a competitive level. Gold 4, as much competitive as it can get). I feel like I should invest in learning new heroes because it turns out that alarak isn't that universal and actually quite specific regarding team composition. But I have absolutely zero understanding of his role in a team, it didn't matter in quicks .

Sometimes his great, but sometimes I feel like I do no damage or have no impact on the result of a team fight. I can hit his combo pretty consistently but often it feels not enough. He takes DD slot in a team and it seems that any other dd could have done the same if not even better job at dealing damage and securing kills.

So I ask you, oh the wise ones, when exactly he shines? What heroes complement him best? When is it a good time to pick him? What heroes is he strong against? What's his role in a team fights?

And most importantly, what can I do to be more useful for my team?

Sorry if it all was a bit scrambled. I still am trying to figure out how to explain myself. Sry for my English too and thanks to anyone who replies.
