Will brawls always just be "Random heroes battle down a single lane"?

According to https://heroesofthestorm.gamepedia.com/Heroes_Brawl/History , the last unique brawl was "Trial Grounds" in February 15, 2019. It has been a little over 8 months since we have received any unique brawls, is there any reasoning behind this? Why can't Blizzard make the interesting mode they made rotate once in a while? That would at least make me look forward to the brawl next week.
