I've been playing this game for about a year now, but last week I did made a fairly drastic change to my game play; I've turned of my ability to control the camera using the keyboard.
When I started playing, one of the first things I did was to do a complete rebind so that WASD would allow for camera control. Having never played a MOBA before but coming from an RTS background, being able to move the camera while selecting things with the mouse was a very comfortable setup for me. (That and my hand just doesn't sit well on the QWER buttons, so I had to rebind anyway.)
Recently however, after watching a number of streamers and just gameplay in general, I've re-rebound the keyboard camera back to where they were so I can't use them. As a result, my current gameplay is... let's do myself a favour and call it "bad".
I just cannot figure out how to do this. My mouse ends up flying all over the place so my aim is wacked, I'm always losing focus of whats on screen, not helped by the fact that ability icons keep flashing when ever I pan downwards, the entire screen feels and looks janky to look at so my peripheral vision is struggling to keep up, and my wrist ends up killing me after a single match from the amount of moving I'm trying to do.
But despite this, all the newbie help websites seem to work under the assumption that this type of movement isn't a problem, so they don't bother talking about this. I love playing this game, and apparently not using keyboard camera is a big way to improve, I just have no idea on how to handle it.
Can anyone give me some advice? Because I'd really appreciate it.
