You can now cheer on your favorite teams!

How it works:

1) Be sure to link your Blizzard account to your Twitch account so you can claim your loot when items become available

2) Cheer for your favorite teams on the BlizzHeroes channel during HGC events by:

• clicking on the Nexus icon at the bottom of chat
• selecting the team’s logo
• adding the number of Bits and a custom message to cheer them on

3) Track your individual and global progress on the HGC Cheer Event Page

Once Cheering goals are reached, earned items will appear as “Claimable Soon” on the HGC Cheer Event Page. Once they are available, they will appear as ‘Claimable’. Clicking on Claimable items will apply them to your account.

Remember

Don't use /cheer! You need to select a team to cheer and /cheer won't know who to apply the bits to.

100 bits is the least amount needed to qualify for the global progress rewards.

Watching ads can award free bits even if you are a prime member (US only)

How Progress Works

Individual progress

Rewards based on how much you contribute personally regardless of team.

Team progress

Again this tracks personal contributions to teams from you. As you contribution you unlock more rewards.

Global progress

This tracks everyone together. When the community as a whole hits milestones special rewards will unlock.
