Last night we saw the largest tournament in Amateur Heroes of the Storm history, and the community did not disappoint. Coming together you helped raise over 2800$ for the prize pool as well being the recipients of over 3000$ in Razer gear.
I want to say a big congratulations to Vox Nihili our Season 1 CHAMPIONS who brought home 60% of the prize pool as well as RFS Gaming, and Savage Gaming in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. We will be releasing a replay pack in the coming days as well highlight videos showing off the amazing talent of these teams.
I want to give a big thank you to Gillyweed for her stellar casting as well as Miwa for his fantastic observer skills. Thank you so much for helping to take our event to the next level.
I have a lot of sponsors to thank as well but I want to give a big shoutout to Matcherino for running the crowdfunding campaign and really helping to show off our fantastic community. I want to thank our members: RandomCS, Divergent Gaming, Heroes Hype and Sweet Synergy for running a season of awesome tournaments, as well as our admin team working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this a reality.
Lastly I want to thank you, our community, without whom none of this would be possible, and the reason Heroes United exists. We do this for the fans, the players, the content creators, we do it for everyone who loves Heroes of the Storm.
If you guys missed last night's action you can watch the VOD here: https://www.twitch.tv/heroes_hype/v/77917710
Be sure to stay tuned over the coming days and weeks for more information on Season 2.
Thank you all for your continued support.
Cheers,
