An idea on how to better balance teleporting characters.
Post Body

So now that we have 3 characters with solid teleports at will (not including brightwing) the mobility creep is happening. Playing against teleports and blinks is just not fun. They are ok in HL, but can be untouchable in a random QM setting.

With the introduction of tracer, the game in QM has become a shit show. Its a total gamble if you will get one of the few characters that can counter her.

One of the problems of playing against her is the inability to secure a kill against her, even stunning her and slowing her doesn't mean death like a lot of characters. So my idea is to change teleports/blinks.

Instead of it being a straight teleport X feet, make it teleport based on how far you can run in X amount of time. So for example tracer can run say 10 feet a second, and her blink lets her move in 1 second increments. So each blink moves her 10 feet. Well if she is say slowed 60%, she can now only blink 4 feet since she could theoretically only move 4 feet in 1 second if she was running.

This would allow someone like jaina to be able to counter tracer and liming. It would raise the skill ceiling of teleport heroes since it is no longer a get out of jail free card.

Let me know what you think about this. Obiviously its not perfect, and you would have to make a distinction between a blink and teleport, so as to only nerf short blinks and not mess with people like brightwing who teleport to a person rather than a location.
