Since gold is super tight for heros I want to make sound, well rounded purchases. Advice welcomed

Hi All,
First of all, love the community.It's all the love and none of the hate compared to other game communities. I'm sitting at 3,000 gold and currently the only hero I own is Anub who is my main and I normally win about 3 out of 4 solo queue games with him. I have my eye on Zagara, Brightwing, or Murky but I'm very open to suggestions to have a well rounded hero pool to draw from.
