Question about gold gain?

When you get to 30 or 40 do you get more gold per game? Or do you really only get 20 gold per match? (Not counting the 10 per win). I know there are dailies and you get 500G for getting a hero to level 5 but 20-30G per game seems a bit low and extremely grindy for heroes that are 7000-10000G. Seems like less of a pay incentive and more like a pay wall. Are there other ways of getting gold that I don't know of?
