Hey all, so my daughter recently came back from a beach vacation with two hermit crabs that we specifically asked her not to get 😅 so now that they're here, I'm doing my best to make them as happy as possible. She has two, in a 20 gallon tank. We have coconut fiber coming today to mix with the sand, as well as a temp/humidity gauge and a heat mat. My first question would be, am I supposed to mist the coconut fiber lightly before I mix it with the sand or leave it completely dry? Included a photo of her tank for reference. She's been feeding them broccoli, tomatoes, seaweed and coconut as well as meal worms and red shrimp. They have a fresh and salt water bowl, and a cactus, log and Hermie hut hideout. Any recommendations would be super helpful!
