Can you consume dried chamomile?
Post Body
I'm enjoying the calming effects of chamomile tea. I've tried to purchase chamomile extract but it is hard to find in my country (Canada). I'm wondering if it is ok to consume the dried chamomile directly?
Comments
Yes, you can consume dried chamomile directly to make tea or infusions. It's commonly used this way for its calming properties. Just steep a teaspoon or so in hot water for a few minutes, strain, and enjoy! It's a great alternative if you can't find chamomile extract.
