I want to start by saying that I am NOT a smoker, and except for a beer or two here and there, I live a very sober life. But I got covid (at least what tested postive as covid) about two months ago, and have since had a very pesky and phlegmy cough. I read online that nicotine is supposedly helpful with post covid symptoms for some reason, so I got a can of those fruity, nicotine pouches, and I gotta say, after only a day or so with them in my cheek, it's made a profound difference! This was a surprise to me because I'm very sensitive to vaso-constrictors, and to my knowledge, nicotine is a vaso- constrictor, but my cough has really diminished today, and I'm feeling it easier to breathe in general. Also feeling "warmer" in general.
Am i imagining things, or is there something to this? Anyone know?
Thanks.
