Hi all. I'm suffering from blood when whipping, after passing stools for about 3 hemorrhoids (definitely low level). I received banding 2 months ago and they just started acting up again. I just went to the doctor and he said everything looks fine and my hemorrhoids are flat but we should do a colonoscopy to double check everything. After that, I can decide on if I want surgery to remove them.

Do you think it's worth it in my case? For those who have done it, how was the recovery? I'm a 28 Y/O Male and healthy (for the most part) so I don't want to have these for the rest of my life but my doctor said he doesn't recommend the procedure. I also frequently engage in Anal sex.
