Pay a bill or buy the first class plane ticket?
Post Body

I am going to buy a plane ticket to see my best friend in Florida. I haven't seen him in 8 years. I'm also going for my birthday and a much needed vacation. The cost of the coach ticket, including the costs of a checked bag, drinks, etc would be approximately $400. A first class ticket would be only $300 more. I want to spoil myself a bit for my birthday with the first class ticket. I'll be turning 39 and I think I deserve it because I've had an extremely stressful few years and need the break. But I am also trying to rebuild my life and that includes paying off se debts. I recently paid off a few medical bills. So long story short - I could pay off a bill now or buy the cushy and easy travel of first class or do I save the money and pay a bill that I will pay in a few months anyway? Yolo or no go?
