The last 3 years have been a strong of heartaches one right after another. During this time we've lost everything my fiance and I have worked for and dreamed of and I don't know why. It all started with an eviction that was obtained illegally by a petty roommate that had nothing better to do than cause trouble. I worked from home at the time and we had just been approved for a $90,000 home loan. The only thing we had to do was wait out the mandatory 6 month waiting period. I was working from home at the time with a company I loved and had been with for the last five years. We were renting a 4 bedroom home with our daughter, her boyfriend, and our granddaughter. (My sunshine). One day we received a notice of eviction brought to us by a sheriff's deputy. We attempted to fight the eviction in court but the judge found in favor of the roommate even though 3 the people listed on the notice never lived at that address and 2 of them didn't exist. The roommate had gone on Facebook and listed people from my daughter's boyfriend's friends list. While waiting for the hearing she also went to the post office and had our mail delivery stopped. I'm still not sure how she managed that one. With the loss of my home I lost my job and because of my job loss we lost our home loan. We were 90 days away from owning our own home. Everything went down hill from there. My daughter lost custody of her daughter and we lost contact with our granddaughter. A child that had been with us since the day she came home from the hospital. My daughter's aunt claimed she was told to get custody by the DCF caseworker even though I witnessed the same caseworker sign of on the case being closed 4 days prior to the aunt filing for "temporary" custody. We've gone from making nearly $3000 a month to $100a month and that is given by my mother. We've been homeless, hungry, and on the verge of giving up. I've called every organization, filled out countless applications for both assistance and employment. We have been blessed to be approved for food stamps however they don't go far and we often end up hungry for the last 2 weeks of the month. I don't know why I'm posting this. Maybe I'm hoping for a miracle or maybe I just need to get this of my chest. My one and only goal this entire time has been to get back to a position to where we can bri6our granddaughter home. This all happened right before she turned 2 and now she's almost 4. We miss her so much. Anyway if you've read this far I thank you.
