where would I go to fundraise to get a teen in need a switch
Post Body

To keep it mostly short I'm a trade school student with very low income which is why I'm here to begin with. Having grown up in a rocky household myself I understand the struggles of never getting much especially over the holidays and that's where this leads me. Me and my girl ended up becoming friends with this chill dude who's 17 so only a few years younger than me who had it a lot more rough he ended up here mainly to get away from his house and parent situation and he basically became our on campus child in terms of if he needs help or someone messing with him I step in and make sure he's good. He eventually told us how shitty it was at home and I felt for the kid cause I get it so that's what leads me to the title. Where would I go to start a small fundraiser (for around 250 which is from what Google tells me is the usual price) to get him a Nintendo switch, he's been always hinting at one and I'd feel it would be a nice surprise and maybe cheer him up while he's here cause it's miserable on campus as well. Any points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated I'm not asking for donations I'm just trying to help a kid out and show him people ain't all bad
