Hey there! I've tried posting around about this over the years. But I think I'll go ahead and just create a new profile, unless someone knows the issue.
I have a profile from April 2013 (this one that I'm posting from) that has always seemed to have an issue viewing all available posts within a subreddit. That is, when I'm logged in with this account, I can only see items that are greater than 3 days old, but younger than 9 days old - and only on certain subreddits. Roughly...
The issue appears intermittent, or transient, as time keeps trudging on. And since it only affects some subreddits, I don't think it's a user settings issue. I only noticed because I had created an account for a friend, and was setting up their subs. Noticed that they could see much more content than me. So I compared both side-by-side. /r/airbnb for example would show a limited number of posts, even though the view mode and user settings were identical.
I'm reluctant to create a new account because this old account seems to have perpetual ad free browsing. I don't know how, but I don't want to give that up. I suspect the same thing that's giving me perpetual ad-free browsing is the same buggy/deprecated aspect that is limiting my posts view.
What do you think?
