Reddit chat messaging

Hey! Since a few weeks it occurs when i started a convo on Reddit Chat the chat bubble wont show when the user replied to it on Reddit Chat. Only when someone starts a chat with me i can see the chat bubble thingy light up but otherwise i have to go to Reddit Chat to see if the user messaged me back.
Anyone know how to fix this? or is this a known bug? If so, links would be appreciated
