Subreddit isn’t searchable?

So I just created a subreddit and I can’t find it. I made it on another account by mistake so I figured I’d just sub to it on this one but it’s not appearing when I search it. Is there a time I have to wait before a sub is searchable? I know it’s set to an open subreddit in its settings so why can’t I find it?
