Not Being Able To Send Messages/Chats/Find About Section

So, for reference, I'm blind and use screen reading software to navigate Reddit both on my laptop and mobile device. That being said, I am perfectly able to go to a user's "about" section and send them, say, a chat request invite or a PM message, but on the web version, I cannot find this either on their Overview section, nor can I find an "about" section with these options either. Does anyone know what could be going on?
