Single chat no longer showing notifications

I’m using iOS mobile app, it’s up to date as is my software. I’ve been having trouble with only one chat. It no longer shows the little red dot to indicate a new message has been received. It works fine on all other chats and messages. I don’t see a setting that could cause this. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
