Weird chat behavior

I think it started a couple of days ago but on one of my accounts the chat had become super buggy. Chats sometimes won’t load or take a long time to load. When I hit send, the message is going through but I won’t see it until I go out and come back again, so awkward when you’re trying to send multiple messages in one go if that makes sense. My other accounts here are not doing this.
Any causes or solutions to look at?
