How can I get a picture to show on a text based post with Imgur?

Hey all!
I’m trying to make an r4r post, but I’m not sure how to get a picture to show up on my post when I place the Imgur links into the text based post. Also, if I have multiple links, how would it decide which link to pull from if it can?
I’m sure this has been answered, but I can’t find an exact answer to it.
