Chat notifications from random old chats

Hey… I’ve been chatting with people on here for a couple months. I have a ton of new and old chats in my inbox. This specific problem just started today. When I look at my app, it doesn’t show any notifications, but when I open the app, it currently shows 10 chat notifications. When I go into my chats and scroll, nothing has any new messages or shows that it has anything unread. I can’t figure out where these notifications are coming from… I’ve been trying to leave old chats, mute old chats etc but it does nothing. Any help is appreciated
