My Chat Messages are Disappearing

I am on the most current version of iOS with the most current version of the Reddit iOS app. Every time I go to scroll down on my messages they all disappear.
Before I came here I searched google to see if others have had this problem. I found threads going back intermittently for 7 years and the response is always the same… Reddit is working on a fix.
Please. Help.
