Hello everyone! First time posting here. I recently came across helldivers on the Playstation store and it's on sale for 31 USD at the moment. I'm wondering if this is a good time to get started with the game and if the player base is still going strong?

For some additional context, it's been a while since I've had a decent co-op shooter experience and I've been looking to scratch that itch. I've heard helldivers does that well but you need to have a solid bunch of people to play with (which I don't). How's the random online experience like and where can I look for groups to join and play proper co-op if I get the game?

I have a soul sucking job and I could use the satisfaction and laughs that I imagine must come with massacring some space bugs for the glory of democracy lol.
