Just had a mission where I hopped in, had to immediately reinforce someone. I dropped my gear in the same place. And the little asshole instantly runs to my quasar cannon and steals it. I sent him a message in team chat and politely asked him to drop it. He didn’t. I asked nicely over voice chat. He didn’t drop it. I told him if he didn’t drop it I was going to shoot him and take it. He didn’t drop it. I shot him. The host kicked me. Not sure if the host was his friend or just not paying attention to that situation at all, but it’s super fucking annoying to have to deal with idiots stealing your gear.

Edit: The amount of people trying to defend this behavior is frankly astounding. It’s one thing to take another helldivers gear to deal with an immediate issue and then returning it upon request. That is not what I’m complaining about. I’m complaining about someone stealing my gear as I drop it in and then refusing to return it.
