Heat pump won’t kick on for heat, but will for a/c
Post Body
Need some advice please: My upstairs unit has been running fine during the summer on a/c. Switched it over to heat last night and it would click and try to cut on but immediately cut off.
If I switch the fan to “on” or “circ” it will run fine, but if I leave it on “auto” it won’t cut on for the heat.
The outside unit is running & the furnace looks to be operational. I’ve checked to make sure all the breakers are good. & I swapped thermostats with my downstairs unit and it was fine.
Any ideas?
