I just had a heat pump installed yesterday! We were primarly planning to use it for cooling with our radiators for heating. However, reading these specifications (specifically the COP at lower temperatures), I'm reconsidering using it for winter too.
Our current setup is we have the heat pump from the link above with two head units: one in our bedroom and one in the upstairs hallway near the stairs.
Could this reasonably used in the winter, where it can get below 0 pretty often in Minnesota? If so, what temperature would you operate it at before switching to the radiators?
