I'm in Texas right now and went out to dinner with my SO. We go to a bbq joint, and as we're waiting to pay at the counter, our cashier, 20-something male, noticed my hammer and jormungandr pendants and asked me where I got them as he pulled out his pendant. Guess he's a ren fest fan, but I didn't talk to him for too long as they were busy. Has something similar happened to any of you? Is the lurking thought of NatSoc in the back of your mind in these instances? I'm terribly awkward and considering how christian leaning this state is, didn't really wanna out me or his possible pagan self in front of god fearing folks by asking him if he was heathen or not. Is there a good way of asking without straight up asking?
