I've been going through the show on Netflix, and I'm a few episodes into season 7. I totally didn't get how Tim got to running things at Heartland to the point of making significant change, as if he could just ignore Jack's wishes about his own land, house, and property (and in the arguments they had Jack never just says that it's his land).
At first I thought Jack must be dead, but of course that didn't happen. Close to the end of season 6 there are a couple of references to them being partners, but the only thong I remember them partnering in were the cattle that Tim gave Jack (and even in that I thought it was an employer/employee relationship).
Am I missing something?
