Is there help for an uninformed, casual player?

I absolutely love hearthstone, but I‘m a pretty casual player. I would really like to learn about the game and the cards, and talk about (basic) tactics etc, but every time I come on this subreddit it’s like trying to read a different language. I guess what I’m asking is if there is anyone who’d be able to recommend either somewhere more on my level for discussing the game, or places where I can learn more about the game to get to a level where I understand what’s going on in this subreddit.
