I haven't played since 2016, just came back and the Reno's Riches deck seemed really good. However I'm now stuck in low silver ranks (2-3). I seem to struggle to beat Galrakond Rogue and Resurrection Priest in particular, and I often seem to wait around for playable cards until turn 4 or 5.
I have 1100 dust and 1100 gold at my disposal. In addition to the Reno's Riches legendaries I have [[Bloodmage Thalnos]], [[Kael'thas Sunstrider]] and [[Sathrovarr]]. My only other epic (in addition to [[Doomsayer]] and [[Power of Creation]] from the deck) is [[Big Game Hunter]], so not much value there(?)
Cards that appear weak to me in the deck are:
- [[Ray of Frost]: I rarely have a use for this
- [[Ancient Mysteries]]: the deck only has two 3-drop secrets - are they that important?
- [[Frost Nova]]: I rarely play this unless I'm about to lose, so maybe there is a more useful card effect than just stalling for that scenario?
So;
- Are there any good strategy guides for the deck I can read up on or watch to improve the way I play my cards? Googling gave me a little info on the deck (control/stall until late game for powerful minions) but I'm stuck with the gameplay. YouTube videos would be great.
- Which are the weakest cards in the deck, and which cards should I aim to replace them with?
- Alternatively, are there any other good decks I can try to mimick (assuming it would have to be a highlander deck given my legendary situation) on this budget?
- What is the best way to spend my gold? Are there any particular solo wings that unlock great cards or should I try to get value decks from the Arena (I was doing slightly better than 150g of value per Arena run back in 2015/2016)?
Input on any of this is greatly appreciated! I would prefer cards that are not about to go out of rotation any time soon as I don't play enough to save up significant amounts of gold and dust.
