I cannot through any means get past TWO wins in this unwinnable mode. I’ve waited till now because now I can proudly say that I’ve done FIFTY ARENA RUNS. Let me inform you that the key displayed on my quest screen is the GOLD key, which is FIVE WINS. Now that I’ve reached fifty attempts I can safely say that it cannot be luck. Though it always seems to feel like luck. I’d say about 99% of my runs have the very first match lost because of an unfair matchup. I either get a hand of costly cards in my Aggro deck and get swamped before I play a single thing or I draw fine except my opponent has the constant power of card game god on his side and outvalues my pathetic mortal cards. I swear everyone I fight just gets to pick their cards from the deck builder specifically to beat my random trash. Most of the time it is random trash, but every now and then I get a glorious deck that could beat some fools in standard but die three times in a row because I didn’t draw cheaper cards than my opponent and they just snowball me. OR I snowball them, play perfectly, and set up an impenetrable board that no reasonable card could ever hope to break. Then they generate a card that wins them the game or they steal a card in my deck that puts me too far behind to win.

Here’s what I currently have with me. 4 different ‘cheats’ including Decktracker and the Arena Helper that displays synergies and rating from both Lightforged and HSArena. A rank 4-5 skill rating in Constructed. Two years of experience. Full card knowledge from all standard expansions. Knowledge of the best class, about 7-8 ‘must pick’ cards, and how good certain cards are when they have rush/lifesteal/divine shield et cetera. Even with all that my average run ends on game 4. Is that what arena is supposed to be? Is this a place where people just buy 150 gold packs? I hope it’s not and that there’s something here I’m doing wrong. Does anyone anywhere know what that even could be?
