I've noticed that as time goes on I'm getting hit more and more with those stock replies. You know what I'm talking about. Those customer service responses that don't really go anywhere.
Today I sent her a song with a background of the track of an artist we both really dig. When we were together, she would've sent me a paragraph explaining how it made her feel and would send me a song in return.
She responded "wow, that's a good one"
It's always me sending her stuff, it's always me trying to make plans to hang out, it's humiliating
Maybe she just needs space and after enough time we will be able to truly be friends. But honestly, I'd almost rather her not reply at all than to be fake. I feel like an obligation to her at this point. It's like how your HS crush that isn't interested in you would talk to you.
