To all my fellow Redditors that desire connection,

I have talked to many of you, and have not even begun to scratch the surface. I hear your pleas, your cries, for help and support. Your desires for love and affection. Your needs for sexual satisfaction and freedom. I am one of you.

The countless hours spent looking through the deep bowels of our favorite platform. Hoping, praying, for the connections that we so deeply desire. Looking endlessly, to somehow fill the holes in our lives. Looking for the cure, to the feelings of emptiness that consume us all.

Many of us will rarely find what we are looking for. Much of what we are searching for, is looked down upon by normal folk. Some secret fetish or kink, love interest, hobby, These are things that we hide from the real world. Too scared to speak of them, we hide behind our computers for comfort. We take our phones to a dark corner somewhere, seeking out our secret addictions.

Some of us, however, get lucky. We find a connection, we find a community, we find support. The hole that was once empty is filling up. Eventually though, it slows down. The holes are only halfway filled now. The desires are only halfway fulfilled. Pictures, videos, and calls, can only satiate us for so long. Then, we sink back. To our actions of before, caught in the never ending cycle.

I pray that all of us will eventually find happiness, no matter how long it takes.
