Everytime you beg them, everytime you tolerate their bullshit out of need for their attention and presence and everytime you compromise yourself to please them or to match their ideals, you sacrifice your autonomy and personal power.
Your autonomy and personal power is what makes you you.
It‘s your ability to let go, to make your own decisions, to heal and to get what you want.
When you sacrifice it just to feel the short term pleasure of their validation, you lose those abilities. You lose the freedom to make your own decisions and wont get what you want out of life.
So start to respect your own autonomy and personal power more.
