I met a girl on a social media site and I found out she lived super close to me. So close in fact she recognized me before I recognized her, and she initiated the contact. Well we talk for a while, I don’t want to rush things so we don’t sleep together for a bit. We talk for maybe 3 weeks and we agree we’re ready. So she comes over that night and we talk for a bit until things naturally progressed into the bedroom. We’re pretty deep into things and suddenly she stops me, crying. We talk and she tells me that she’s suffering some trauma. She says she was rped by 4 guys around 10 years ago(she mentioned this much earlier on, but she brought it up again here). She said she went through therapy for it for quite some time and she thought she was past it. Apparently the guys that did it happen to be the same race as me, and I’m the first guy she had been with of my race since then. She said she liked me so much and I was such an amazing guy, but she doesn’t know if she can have a physical relationship with me. I tell her I’m willing to take it slow, pull back on some things and try again when she’s comfortable. She kissed me (pretty passionately, for a few minutes) offered to “help me finish” and then went home. After another kiss.

The next day I waking up to a text telling me how she wants to be friends but she can’t have a physical relationship with me. I’m absolutely shattered. We had spent so much time just talking, getting to know each other, and this is how it ends. I don’t even know if I can be friends with her. I just needed to get that out somewhere… I’m also super confused about this whole thing.
